The relay has 6 legs, 3 on each loop.  Here they are (mileage is approximate):

Legs 1 and 4:  4.5 miles

Legs 2 and 5:  4.5 miles

Legs 3 and 6:  4 miles

Click here for a map showing all the hand-off and parking spots.

Each team will get a wrist sweatband to pass at the handoff spots, but only the person running leg 6 will need to wear the timing chip.

Each runner must run at least one complete leg, and hand-offs can only occur in the designated spots.  Teams with 3, 4 or 5 runners can divy up the legs in any order among their runners.
